How does Inzi pricing compare to Stripe, PayPal, and Coinbase Commerce?

For a digital business processing fifty thousand US dollars per month from international clients, total fees vary dramatically across providers. The numbers below assume the published 2026 rates and a typical cross-border merchant profile (foreign-issued cards, currency conversion required). Inzi charges nothing on the payments themselves — the money never passes through us — so the only line is the subscription.

ProviderTotal feesNotes
Stripe (cross-border + FX)$2,150/mo3.9% + 1.5% FX spread on a $50K month, plus $30 chargeback risk reserves on refund-prone categories
PayPal Business (international)$2,475/mo4.4% + $0.30 fixed + ~1% FX spread; settlement 3–5 business days; freeze risk on disputed transactions
Coinbase CommerceunavailableShut down for merchants outside the US and Singapore on 31 March 2026; where it still runs it charges 1.0% per transaction and holds funds until manual withdrawal
Inzi Growth$49/mo0% on transactions — payments go straight from your customer to your wallet, so there is nothing for us to deduct; $49 monthly for the product
Inzi Scale$149/mo0% on transactions; $149 monthly; higher payout volume, white-label pages and an SLA

A merchant on the Growth plan pays $588 per year in total, against roughly $25,800 with Stripe cross-border and $29,700 with PayPal Business at the same $50,000 monthly volume — and keeps full custody of funds with no chargeback exposure. The saving grows with volume rather than shrinking, because the subscription does not scale with what you process. The only reason to move from Growth to Scale is capacity — payout volume, white-label pages, SLA — not a lower rate, because the rate is already zero.

"Verified merchant" status is granted automatically after the first $1,000 of confirmed payments and a successful KYB attestation through our partner provider. Unverified merchants can still process payments but are subject to a $5,000 monthly cap and slower settlement during the first 30 days. Verification is free and takes one business day.

Pricing FAQ

The subscription, and nothing else. Payments on Inzi go directly from your customer to your own wallet — the funds never pass through us, so there is no transaction fee to deduct and no percentage of your revenue to give up. A $500 customer payment arrives as $500. What you pay for is the product around the payment: payment links and hosted checkout, attribution that matches an incoming transfer to the right order, batch payouts with a pre-flight check that shows which recipients would fail before you sign, webhooks, reconciliation and exports. Growth is $49 per month and Scale is $149, billed monthly. Because your funds sit in your own wallet and never pass through us, nothing is ever deducted automatically — we invoice you and you pay it, and a missed payment gets a conversation before it gets a plan change. Switching plans takes effect immediately. Network gas is paid by whoever sends the transaction — your customer when they pay you, your wallet when you pay out — and Inzi takes no margin on it.
Blockchain transactions are irreversible by design — Inzi cannot reverse a confirmed payment. To refund a customer, send a stablecoin transfer from your settlement wallet directly back to the customer's payer address (visible in the dashboard payment detail view). Because Inzi is non-custodial, there are no chargebacks — a customer cannot dispute a confirmed on-chain payment to claw funds back, eliminating the chargeback fee load that Stripe and PayPal merchants face on cross-border transactions. This is one of the core reasons high-ticket and high-risk merchants migrate to stablecoin rails. For disputed services, we recommend escrow-style payment links with explicit terms in the customer-facing description field.
There is no transaction fee to hide anything inside — the subscription is the entire bill. No percentage of your revenue, no monthly minimum above the listed plan, no per-API-call fees, no setup cost, no domain or webhook fees. Network gas is paid by whoever sends the transaction and goes to the network, not to us: your customer pays it when they pay you (Solana ~$0.0003, Polygon ~$0.001, Tron ~$0.30 from staked energy, Ethereum varies), and your own wallet pays it when you send a batch payout — one transaction for up to 16 recipients, so the per-recipient cost falls as the batch grows. Inzi takes no margin on gas. When the EUR off-ramp launches in Q3 2026, FX conversion will use the mid-market rate plus a 0.5% spread, shown before each conversion is confirmed — that spread is the one place a percentage appears anywhere in our pricing, and it applies only if you choose to convert to euros.
The minimum payment is one US dollar equivalent. Any smaller payment would lose more than half its value to network gas fees on most chains and is rejected at the checkout layer. There is no hard maximum for verified merchants, but enterprise transactions over $10,000 typically benefit from a 30-minute pre-call so we can pre-approve larger sweep limits and confirm the customer's chosen chain has sufficient liquidity. Tron and Solana handle six-figure transactions cleanly; Ethereum becomes uneconomical above $50 unless the customer is comfortable with the gas cost. Unverified merchants are capped at $5,000 per month until KYB is completed (free, ~24h).
